When the cold sets in, we look for a jacket that’s warm, practical, and stylish. This season, three brands at Germaine Collard perfectly meet this need: K-Way, Barbour and Fusalp. Here’s our selection.
This winter, K-Way is focusing on sherpa, that super-soft, looped faux fur. The Claude Orsetto jacket with a hood is available in khaki, blue, and taupe. For an even cozier feel, the Pascal Sherpa Polar Double jacket can be worn on its own or under a coat.
For women, the Angelique 4.0 Orsetto jacket combines ecru sherpa and taupe nylon, with a hood and two large pockets.
Looking for something lighter? The Arsene Warm Micro jacket in camel or the Rainer Spacer hooded zip-up sweatshirt are perfect for mid-season.
Barbour is famous for its British-style jackets. We love the Duke jacket in green, the Drie jacket in khaki with patch pockets, and the Fleece jacket with a checkered pattern. To complete the outfit, the Bewley Sweater with a zippered collar and the Ashmann Polo Shirt are surefire choices.
Born in the Alps, Fusalp brings a touch of sporty chic to the winter wardrobe. For men, the Gorvone sleeveless down jacket can be worn over a sweater, and the Nyx beanie completes the look. For women, the Melsy and Piagaen jackets offer a soft, cozy look in taupe.
